NATURE:
The Academy shall be an International, non-profit making professional learned body.

OFFICE:
The Headquarters of the Academy shall be located at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Shaktibrahma Homoeo Care & Specialty Centre, Luxminarayan Complex, Station Road, Parbhani.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES:
(a) To promote and advance interdisciplinary interaction amongst scientists, engineers, and medical doctors for the benefit of teaching, research and practices of biomedical engineering.
(b) To disseminate knowledge in biomedical engineering.
(c) To sensitize and aid research and development in all aspects of biomedical engineering.
(d) To help generate, operate and develop various biomedical instrumental parameters in the interdisciplinary Biomedical studies.

ACTIVITIES:
In pursuit of these objectives the Society may engage in the following activities:
(a) To conduct certificate courses in Biomedical Instrumentation for medical students, Doctors, Engineers, Bio-Technology Students, Science Students etc.
(b) To conduct seminars and training programmes, workshops, to make awareness about Biomedical Engineering.
(c) Maintain contacts with other learned and professional organizations.
(e) Purchase, take lease of or otherwise acquire, hold, manage, let, sell, exchange, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of movable or immovable properties of the academy.
(f) Borrow or raise money in such manner as the academy may think fit and collect subscriptions and donations for the purpose of the academy.
(g) To undertake such other activities which are cognate to the objects of the academy or conductive to the attainments of the above objects.
